Local campers affected by rising gas prices

ST. CLOUD -- A lot more folks are staying closer to home this 4th of July weekend.

The owner of the St. Cloud Campground and RV Park says even though they are booked for this weekend, during the week they are seeing fewer people camping. He says it has made him advertise for the first time to residents in the St. Cloud area.

Some campers say they are making less trips, or staying closer to home to save money. 

Others who live in the RV's say they are stopping less, and staying longer, to keep their costs the same as last year.
