The Timberwolves have extended qualifying offers to restricted free agents Ryan Gomes, Craig Smith
and Chris Richard. Gomes was acquired by the Wolves in the Kevin Garnett trade and established career highs in points, rebounds and minutes played last season. The Wolves have the right to match an offer any of these players get during free agency. NBA free agency officially began last night at 11pm (Central Time). The Timberwolves are planning on introducing 6'7 guard/forward Mike Miller at a press conference at 1pm this afternoon. The Wolves acquired Miller in an 8-player trade with Memphis last Thursday.
