Brunette returning to Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS -- A familiar face is returning to the Minnesota Wild.
Minnesota has signed free agent Andrew Brunette to a three-year, $7 million deal, bringing the left wing home to the team he played for from 2001 through 2004. Brunette will help to fill the void left when Brian Rolston left for New Jersey.
Meanwhile, the Wild have also signed Phoenix right wing Craig Weller and obtained Nashville defenseman Marek Zidlicky in a trade. Minnesota will send forward Ryan Jones and a second-round pick in next year's draft to the Predators.
