University, Cirrus teaming up for simulator
by The Associated Press

GRAND FORKS, N.D. -- University of North Dakota officials say students will be working with professionals from Cirrus Design Corp. on a spacecraft simulator.

UND says it could lead to training in Grand Forks for private spacecraft crew members.

UND will operate the simulator. Cirrus is based in Duluth, Minnesota, with a plant in Grand Forks.

Tom Haggy is Cirrus' director of operations in Grand Forks. He says the simulator project allows both Cirrus and UND to show off their talents.
